 Film screening „MÃES DO DERICK“ – Tue, 11.10.22 8:30 p.m. at „Cinema im
Ostertor“
Ostertorsteinweg 105, 28203 Bremen

„Tamy, Bruna, Chiva and Ana are Derick’s mothers. Together with other
friends, they are building a house for their child in the Brazilian
forest. It is a long project that threatens to fail again and again.
Besides their parenthood, they are united by their activism. Their
queerfeminist and anarchist political views determine their life
together. The film accompanies them in their everyday life. Documentary
moments are repeatedly interspersed with rap video clips. The shared
everyday life and the political struggles are all interwoven. In what
form can their political, ecological, social ideas be concretely livable
for them? They try it out. Within the context of a conservative society
in Brazil and the threat of state violence, the protagonists jointly
design a queerfeminist place.“

Info booth and screen printing – Tue,. 11.10.22 from 11 a.m. on at
campus

The autonomous feminist department is bringing some life back into the
steel-lined, cool moderate zone at the university canteen – with
silk-screen paint, glitter and literature from the floor’s own
queerfeminist library. With a little music (and hopefully some waffles)
we invite you to browse, chat, network and get to know each other! You
want to know how a film series is organized, readings are planned and
workshops are held? And maybe you even want to join us? Then drop by
either today or last minute at the hangover breakfast on friday at the
AstA floor in our office (glass hall 2nd floor) and bring your friends &
allies with you.

Workshop on „Climate Justice and Feminism“ – Thu, 13.10.22 from 2:30
p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Paradox
Bernhardstraße 12, 28203 Bremen

In this creative writing workshop, we will approach the interconnections
between patriarchy and the climate crisis in the global South and in
Germany. We will explore why women* are affected differently and more
heavily than men by the effects of the climate crisis and how the
patriarchal and exploitative culture in the global north fuels the
climate crisis. We’d love for you to learn about the lives of people
already affected by the climate crisis and join us in thinking about how
we can break destructive cultural patterns here.
Together with the young development forum (“ junges
entwicklungspolitisches forum“ – jep) and the climate activist Inken
Behrmann we invite you to exchange and creative reflection!

Hangover Breakfast – Fri, 14.10.22 from 11am on at the feminist
department office (A2331) on the AStA (allgemeiner Studierenden
Ausschuss – general student commitee) floor in the Glass Hall
Bibliothekstraße 7/StH, 28359 Bremen

You missed us on tuesday on campus for screen printing, but still want
to have a chat with us in a relaxed atmosphere and collectively develop
strategies against the emotional-hangover? You have discovered books and
films that we could or should have (and maybe you already want to borrow
something)? You’ve always wanted to see how we use the space we’re given
for queerfeminist activism? Or are you just dying for autographs,
flyers, stickers, info brochures and want to know what’s going on at the
university and beyond for
queer(-feminist) spaces and events? Then you are cordially invited to
join us for a hangover breakfast starting at 11 a.m. and bring a little
something with you. See you around!
