The day before yesterday a woman in Upper Austria was stabbed by her partner, yesterday in Vienna a woman survived a murder attempt by her parnter. The mass murder of women, inter and trans persons worldwide are not individual fates, they have a system:
It’s called feminicide! It‘s called patriarchy!
It is not the breakup of the bourgeois family or its “failure” that is the cause of such violence, but its institution and norm itself; its idealization as a “pure” and “safe” place is the problem.
